I replaced the battery (doubled the capacity) and "jailbroke" my 15 year old Kindle 3 today. It is running better than when I first got it. I'm excited to get back into reading more often. I have a long list of books I want to read, but I think I will start with a recommendation from @ggrey@social.thelab.uno to read Blood in the Machine by Brian Merchant. Apparently the book discussed the comparison between the Luddite movement and modern AI hype. It combines two of my passions, history and technology.
