Good morning. Just past 5am. Got up at 4:15. The alarm was soon going to go off anyway but one of the bassets (the pushy, whiny one) started his soft whining around 4:15 because he wanted breakfast. Then because he usually sleeps in the wagon he was in for 12 weeks after his paw surgery, he expects me to wheel him out to the living room 🙄 My advice to all: want a low maintenance dog? Avoid #BassetHounds! Though they are by far the most loving breed I have ever had. As I sip my coffee, he is comfortably sleeping on the couch with her stomach full. 😆
