What does life look like after your world ends? This is a story that I’m living out right now. And to be honest? The apocalypse is pretty wonderful. I’m a USian emigrant who is currently living in Ireland and studying to get my Master’s in Library and Information Studies. This may mean that I am destined for a career as a librarian or as a social science researcher. Or maybe both? I’m still figuring that part out. So expect to see a fair amount of shitposting on this account interspersed with nerdy information behaviour infodumps. I think my trauma posting era is mostly over, but perhaps the odd one will reappear? I’m equal parts basic bitch, Librariancore, and dark academia depending on the day. I may also be the queer girl cosplaying the straight girls cosplaying the queer girls. If you want to know about cataloguing standards and information marginalisation, I’m your girl. I sometimes need to mix in some basic straight girl music with all of the sapphic pop (don’t judge). Most posts self-destruct after 1 year.

I think I’ve realised that in spite of the fact that I wish I had had a girl goth phase earlier in life, my aesthetic of choice is not, even soft, goth.
I am okay with this.
