Global wheat prices have surged by more than 4% following Ukrainian attacks on #Russian ships in the Sea of #Azov, according to Bloomberg. The publication reports that #Ukraine has struck 76 ships in recent days, including cargo vessels transporting grain. This has disrupted shipping in the Sea of Azov. Meanwhile, #Russia is targeting port infrastructure in Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Izmail, through which Ukrainian grain is exported, which is also contributing to the rise in global prices.
