Laundry (and all of the stress, energy expenditure, mental pressures, gymnastics and associated costs of it, especially for those with executive functioning dysfunctioning...) is only a thing because of clothing. Don't wear clothes = don't have laundry problems. Issue solved. Sincerely, though, this is just one of many aspects specific to modern living which aren't necessary for human life. I wonder how I'd function - better, worse, same - if the common struggle of laundry were removed.
