Il Tempo: Sofia Goggia vince il SuperG di Soldeu, Brignone ottava
SOLDEU (ANDORRA) (ITALPRESS) – Sofia Goggia vince il superG di Soldeu, prova valida per la Coppa del Mondo di sci alpino 2025/2026. La bergamasca ferma il cronometro sul tempo di 1'25″95 e centra la seconda vittoria in stagione, dopo quella sempre in superG in Val d'Isere lo scorso dicembre. Successo numero 28 in carriera per Goggia, che consolida la leadership nella classifica generale di disciplina. Seguono la tedesca Emma Aicher (+0″24) e la norvegese Kajsa Vickhoff Lie (+0″31). Quinta a 0″77 Laura Pirovano, ottava a 0″99 Federica Brignone e 15esima a 2″15 Elena Curtoni. A punti anche Asja Zenere, 24esima a 2″74, e Nicol Delago, 27esima a 2″80. Fuori dalla top 30 Sara Allemand (+3″10), Sara Thaler (+3″25) e Nadia Delago (+3″32). Caduta senza conseguenze per Roberta Melesi, scesa con il pettorale numero 2.“Non pensavo di essere prima quando ho tagliato il traguardo perchè ho sciato come ieri. Ho fatto un qualcosa in più sul muro, ma credo sia un ottimo risultato in ottica classifica di superG e la coppa rimane un sogno. Oggi ho fatto una gran gara attaccando dall'inizio alla fine. Ieri ero molto consapevole di aver sbagliato qualcosa. Penso di aver fatto tutto in maniera corretta” commenta Sofia Goggia. “Terza in discesa, ieri sesta e oggi prima: è stato un weekend solido dove a livello di atteggiamento non sono mai mancata. Ho feeling anche in discesa, ma non ho avuto grandi occasioni per vincere se non a St.Moritz. Probabilmente il percorso tecnico fatto negli ultimi anni mi ha dato confidenza anche in superG”, aggiunge la bergamasca sull'ottima tre giorni in Andorra.

SOLDEU (ANDORRA) (ITALPRESS) – Sofia Goggia wins the Soldeu SuperG, a test for the 2025/2026 Alpine Ski World Cup. The Bergamo native stopped the clock at 1’25″95 and secured her second victory of the season, after one more in SuperG in Val d’Isère last December. It’s Goggia’s 28th career victory, consolidating her lead in the overall standings. Emma Aicher (+0″24) and Kajsa Vickhoff Lie (+0″31) followed in second and third place. Laura Pirovano finished fifth at +0″77, Federica Brignone eighth at +0″99, and Elena Curtoni 15th at +2″15. Asja Zenere was also in the points, 24th at +2″74, and Nicol Delago, 27th at +2″80. Sara Allemand (+3″10), Sara Thaler (+3″25) and Nadia Delago (+3″32) were outside the top 30. Roberta Melesi had a consequence-free fall, descending with bib number 2. “I didn’t think I was first when I crossed the finish line because I skied like yesterday. I did something extra on the wall, but I think it’s a great result in terms of SuperG standings and the cup remains a dream. Today I had a great race, attacking from start to finish. Yesterday I was very aware that I had made a mistake. I think I did everything correctly,” comments Sofia Goggia. “Third in downhill, sixth yesterday and first today: it was a solid weekend where I never lacked attitude. I have a feeling in downhill, but I didn’t have great opportunities to win, except in St. Moritz. Probably the technical course made in recent years has given me confidence even in SuperG,” adds the Bergamo native about the excellent three days in Andorra.
