I think a lot of people are confused about what Android Developer Verification really means.
It does NOT mean that you can't have a degoogled phone, ADV *only* applies to certified official ROMs, if you have something like LineageOS or Graphene it will *not* apply to you.
And even if you do have an official ROM, you can toggle the "allow unverified installs" option for fdroid. Enabling that *does* take 24h and requires temporarily enabling dev mode, but afterwards it'll be there forever.
