@antonz@c.im Regarding the libm dependency, I was mainly wondering because it's used by the stdlib but wasn't automatically linked by "so build" unless I explicitly specified using LDFLAGS.

@antonz@c.im I noticed that many of the programs in the examples repo do not compile out of the box with "so build" because they are missing math symbols. Building with "LDFLAGS=-lm so build" got them to run. My questions:

1. Is that the right way to specify external library dependencies?

2. I noticed that several stdlib packages pull in this libm dependency via solod.dev/so/math even though they don't really need any of the externs that come from libm. I wonder if this could be avoided somehow.
