Has anyone found a way of reading #MathML content in webpages or local HTML files using VoiceOver on iPhone that’s better than putting up with Apple’s pathetic attempt at supporting it? My main issue right now is that parentheses are straight up not there and I’m probably missing more. I would love to be able to study and not have to be tied to my desk so that I can use Windows. @TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space This community only got started last year and we’re trying to grow it, discord has been going strong with over 100 members. There are resources on every accessible DAW and we’re even experimenting with creating accessible plug-ins such as a step sequencer with effects and filters, so more coders are definitely welcome.

@TheQuinbox@dragonscave.space Everyone in this situation check out blindproducers.org, there’s a YouTube channel with videos and streams already and one of those is all about accessibly designing dubstep basses though it’s a stream so you’ll have to skip a bit. There’s also a Discord you can join and the guy in that basses stream is in there. Best blind EDM producer I know of plus very responsive and willing to help with this stuff.

@simon I just open Notepad. I guess you’ll only check against whatever dictionary it uses, haven’t looked into those parts of Windows so far to be able to tell you what that is or if you can do stuff like add custom words à la Word.

Man I wish Apple would just pipe text straight from VoiceOver to speech synth. No matter what voice you decide to use, you’re bound to encounter stupidity sooner or later unless you use your phone (I don’t know what it’s like on anything other than iOS) for reading short bits of text while wanting to be oblivious to punctuation or most forms of text structure at that.
