I'm super impressed with TypeWhisper. It's a small opensource app that runs local speech-to-text models. It's been fairly fast and effective in French, German and English with the Parakeet model.

I'm so tired of this synchronisation every time I open Element. I love the idea of Matrix, but every operation is met with friction (and this is without a self hosted server - I killed that one months ago -, trying to be as vanilla as possible).

Je suis un peu privilégié à Berlin, on a de bonnes pistes cyclables à peu près partout (ou en tout cas sur mes trajets haha), du coup c’est rare de se faire éclabousser par des voitures. Pour le reste, une combi de pluie fait l’affaire, mais c’est pas le plus confortable effectivement.
