@mattblaze @tomjennings design on that book is AMAZING - just a master class in telling you what's in the book and if its something you're going to want to read. The typography. The bold choices of color and material. Everything working together in concert to say that you hold a very special object in your hand.

@domi@donotsta.re @gloriouscow@oldbytes.space maybe, but when I look at what's happened with me and my collection over the years, it's more likely than you think. There's no signs of price per square meter of living space going down, or income rising anything like commensurately. Which means that housing stability will decline while the carrying cost for a collection is going to be increasingly intolerable. Meanwhile the plastics continue to rot and the skills required to keep things working climb sharply
