i’ve sorta started to implement a word quota for people that make me less happy daily in some way, and while it seems to be working, it also seems to be amplifying the amount of shortenings of the quota exponentially. where i used to suck it up when somebody tells me to shut up or argues off zero evidence, denying evidence in front of them, i now shorten my conversations with these people, and it’s getting to the point where i can’t stand being in the presence of some old friends. today with the friend who got me to play minecraft, got me to stop, and then booted up a completely different instance within the same day in front of me, to deny it later, i got into an argument about linux and shut down completely. it wasn’t even an important argument, just more bullshit. i may be less emotionally stable, but i know when being near someone is chipping me away. it fucking sucks.
