@jfabreguettes@mastodon.design @timotheegoguely@mastodon.design J'ai une question ! Qui "décide" de comment dessiner ces lettres? Primarium.info montre la multiplicité des modèles d'écriture. Je me demandais comment on faisait pour évoluer dans un sens ou dans un autre. Par exemple en Belgique les francophones et les néerlandophones n'ont pas le même modèle d'écriture ! J'imagine que les francophones sont inspirés du modèle français et les néerlandophones d'un modèle plus germanique. Mais donc voilà, je me demandais quelles étaient les directives lors de la conception de cette typo (je sais vaste question... Mais bon, je tente ma chance 😅)

I created my Lurk account a year ago now. At that time, I decided to leave Instagram to give another shot at the Fediverse (which I tried through pixelfed in 2020 before I used Instagram).

I found interesting content on the Fediverse, but to be honest, I still find more content of my interest on Instagram because this community has sadly not made the move...

I do not post there anymore, but I go there from time to time (much less than a year ago hopefully!). And one of my most valuable data is my "saved posts" page on IG.
But navigating through it is a nightmare, it's very slow and you cannot filter by tag.

I've been wanting to make a tool to do that for a while already and I finally made it! Without the need of a Facebook Creator account, just some #python libraries.

So if you'd like to at least retrieve your archive from there and never go back there, this tool is for you!

I have finally put this #penplotter back on track... The ribbon cable was damaged when we bought it secondhand. But this cable was to old and I couldn't find a replacement.
I replaced it with gigantic jumper wires, their width was matching exactly the slot! Just so lucky sometimes 😅

Then I had a lot of connection issues, but now I finally notes down the right software settings and can plot directly from @inkscape@mastodon.art

Being in a #textile #fablab, this will serve mainly to draw sewing patterns on A0 and avoid people to make a montage of A4 sheets.

I also always have something to do with my hands with me otherwise I'm a bit panicked like a smoker with no cigarette. I'm afraid to get bored in the bus or any other waiting situation!

@luh2203 amazing like last year! We made a tiny mycelium this year at Green Fabric and left it to dry on top of our water-boiler managing the heat. Yhe mycelium had wonderful ridges and we think that it's because of the boiler vibrations!
