@Larvitz@burningboard.net Wish I read this article last weekend! It was quite a surprise to be several hours late on my trip from FRA to Koblenz via Frankfurt but now all is explained (and my form is printed ready to post). Is there a way to make a digital claim without a DB account?
@sinabhfuil@mastodon.ie @ccferrie@mastodon.ie Sorry about that, hope you got sorted out.
@kottke@mastodon.social We have UBI for children (https://www.gov.ie/en/department-of-social-protection/services/child-benefit/) and old people (https://www.gov.ie/en/department-of-social-protection/services/state-pension-non-contributory/) in Ireland too. Child Benefit is a monthly payment of €140 to support parents and guardians. It is paid for each child who:
- normally lives with you and is being fully supported by you
- is under 16, or under 19 if in full-time education, full-time training or has a disability and cannot support themselves The State Pension (NC) is a means-tested payment if you don't qualify for a ... pension
@sinabhfuil@mastodon.ie @ccferrie@mastodon.ie National Archives, Bishop Street, Dublin 8, D08 DF85, Ireland. I'd use the contact form in the first place, https://nationalarchives.ie/contact-us/ - it's the civil service, they have to read everything, acknowledge and reply.
