I have this theory about the people who believe that being taught cursive and reading analog clocks is very difficult and must be taught to children lest society come to it's downfall. They learned young and when you are young, clocks and cursive are an indecipherable secret language for adults.
Are they really that complicated? No. An adult who can read print absolutely can figure out cursive. Clocks wouldn't be hard after a single short explanation to a previously unexposed to a clock adult.
