@JeroenSchaper@mastodon.design ah yeah, widget options don’t reliably update when the app updates, which is annoying. No problem!

@JeroenSchaper@mastodon.design got some feedback that some folks wanted to keep the background colours in dark mode, so I made it a widget option! You should be able to edit your widgets and flip the “colorful backgrounds in dark mode” switch

Put out a minor update today (1.4.2) that includes:

- proper support for iOS 18’s dark/ tinted home screens

- a few new event icons

- a few new patterns

-some bug fixes

- probably other things? I can’t remember and there’s really no way of knowing

@jamie@jenkins.cc Very sorry about the delay here, was out of town for a few days. This *should* be fixed now — if you restore your purchases one more time in the App Store version of the app, it should stick. If you run into any more issues, let me know!

@jamie@jenkins.cc yes, sorry about this! It’s an issue that affected a few early TestFlight users, but it’s very fixable. Can you tap on that “Up Ahead Plus” banner you shared here, and give me the long alphanumeric code that’s displayed at the bottom of the sheet that pops up?

@anthonyvardiz@mastodon.social All depends on how you like to use Up Ahead, but the main use case is if you want to have widgets dedicated to specific types of events — if you travel a lot, you might want a widget that just shows upcoming travel, for example. Alternatively, you might want to exclude certain tags (e.g. "Work"?) from a widget.
