Do you see Apple ever dropping support for Fast User Switching on macos, as they did from the start w/ iOS? What would you do if they did (assuming you use FUS at all)?
I worry. FUS is integral to my usage on macos, mainly for separating work and experimentation. Unfortunately, in the "iOS" era, I've found that support for FUS has waxed and waned, with a definite overall trend towards waning. My macos experience would prolly be better if I didn't use FUS but I persevere.

@overcastfm@mastodon.social there's an bug related to sync and streamed episodes:
0. having streaming as the default mode
1. start listening to a podcast episode (B) on one device, then stop
2. on a second device, listen fully to a *different* episode (A) that *precedes* episode B in your playing queue
3. when overcast completes episode A, it'll try to move on to episode B. however, if B is not fully downloaded and the server is slow, then Overcast will not wait, mark it played, then move to next
