Anyone have experience with buying movies digitally, and getting an actual copy of it? I'm not a fan of stream-only services, so I'd like to maybe (legally?) record the streamed movie as a local file. But it seems kinda messy, and I don't trust it'll actually stream at full 4k the whole time...

I don't have a blu-ray player other than my PS4 though, so also a little iffy on physical. I wanna just have a heckin file on my PC. x3

Yamitsuki cabbage!

I tried this in Japan once, and it was addictively tasty. I recently found the recipe, and it's easy to prep, too!

The dressing uses dashi, freshly toasted & ground sesame seeds, garlic, sesame oil & salt.

It's meant to be a side dish... But I ate the whole thing. xD

This feels like a perfect Q for Mastodon crew:

Can anyone recommend a good ergonomic office chair? My old one came from Microsoft, and was awesome, but has definitely outlived it's lifespan.

When I ask elsewhere I keep getting pointed to racer/gamer chairs, and those aren't very good ergo, IMO.

What's more crazy is knowing how deeply the media we consume shapes and informs us, and thinking about what teens and 20s today are growing up with. X_X (I guess to be fair... What all of us are continuing to grow up with... But yeah, earlier formative experiences, chances to connect with people who expand your horizon, etc... dang)
