@saramg@fosstodon.org it’s a tad more complicated, but mostly yes. Just check if the things inside have barcodes. My personal gripe is that hypermarkets sell ice cream only in packs. I have to go to the small shop if I want one (and I don’t want to keep packs of ice cream home, because reasons 👿)

@zeank yup. It was a problem of choice: if you bring one thing into the world there are a lot of things which you wouldn’t bring. Scarcity. And now we’re living thru the great societal change of abundance (at least on the personal level: I’m still on the fence if it translates to the real abundance on the market). _It’s good that I lived long enough to become descriptivist: I can watch it and take notes._

@lproven this article assumes that the app is always content oriented. But the other pole are the real light weight apps I want to have locally. Native apps which work without internet (but can sync if I ask them to). I hate when those are implemented as web apps

The key moment for the moltbook would be if/when the agents would figure out how to make enough money to cover the cost of tokens and still have pocket money for reinvesting. I'm highly skeptical.

But it ultimately failed, as it resulted in power imbalance between feudal leaders and everyone else. Not to mention a caste of mentates
