@mark One of my favorite tidbits about LCARS is that I think it was Marina Sirtis who raised concerns about not knowing what buttons to push and Michael Okuda explained that the interface was tailored to the user, so that no matter what buttons she pressed they were always the right ones.

@mattblaze@federate.social So I just went back through your ACA thread where this originated and holy Moses that was a trip. What you posted was incredibly benign and reading stories from people whose lives were changed by the ACA did not need any sort of CW applied in any way, shape, or form.
I don't get how some people live their lives being aggrieved by every little thing. It's gotta be exhausting.
