That would still allow you to comment on current events, such as the deaths of horrible people, without yourself being taken for one.
To me that would be showing a clear bias: One person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter.
Looking through the names I still believe the bias is fairly limited (with the personal names such as Nai Soi being exceptions).
