@kde@floss.social as a signatory of that petition (under a different alias) I'd like to ask: if you don't care even a little about what users think and refer to collective action as "brigading", what makes you meaningfully different from the commercial tech sector? if i wanted to use software that i have no say in the development of, I'd use Windows!

@kde@floss.social to be clear, i love FOSS and all it stands for! but if you're just going to tell end users to effectively shove it and that only the opinions of developers matter, then we're just turning into a new flavour of the tech industry, the very thing we're trying to get people to turn away from. the whole *point* of FOSS is that people can participate in the development process!!! they don't have to be developers to do so!!!

@nixCraft@mastodon.social is there a running count of how much this fucker has managed to raise so far? maybe i'm just being paranoid, but with how much it feels he's getting, i'm seriously starting to worry he's angling for hard forks of big projects under the guise of "independence" or something like that...
