One of the things travel reminds me of is how many people spend such an incredible amount of their time in poorly ventilated spaces.
Do you have any idea how much better you'll feel and think and sleep if you live in rooms with CO2 400-600ppm instead of 800-3000ppm?
Also, have you ever tracked the CO2 in your car? You're probably doing something incredibly dangerous with remarkably reduced cognitive capacity.
I hate the liberals so goddamn much. We get the same conservative policies on the economy and environment and even civil rights with less attention or opposition.

It made me think of my own experiences of literary geography - none so magical as what Wayne Chambliss describes, but still important memories and experiences for me where the threads of stories that lie in a tangle of lessons and feelings are stitched into a landscape I can walk with my own body and follow with my finger on a map.
Even when Canadian governments do the right thing, they do it as badly as possible. It is infuriating.
Today, BC announced that we’re going to stop doing time changes (good) but stay on DST (bad).
You don’t have to take my word for it that DST is the wrong choice. Here’s basically every organization that thinks about sleep or circadian rhythms on the topic:
