oh my gosh, i just stumbled onto a real life side quest

very excited to be heading back to university in the fall. part of the excitement and romanticization of this process is my studying tech stack:
- was recently gifted a phone with a stylus. thought it would be gimmicky, but i use it for note taking all day, and actually end up surfacing these notes into usable text
- relaunching my collective's calibre-web server so that i can access my books from anywhere and share relevant texts with my community
- moon reader on android has opds support, meaning i can connect to, search, and read my calibre library, anarchist library, and other online book repos directly
- started browsing through the open buddhist library (@obu@digipres.club) and very excited about the book repo and free course work
- back on zotero and hypothesis (for annotating the web)

i'd love to see some sort of knowledge sharing social media that combines fediverse, bookwyrm, hypothesis, calibre and opds. imagine, you have your personal library that exists in a federation that allows you to access other libraries. you make highlights and annotations that are shared with your connections and you can curate collections across libraries.
