Technically, I have already lived in an apartment in Virginia but that included a washer and dryer. Same with the townhouse we rented after. And the house I lived before all of that was a friend who owned the house and had his own machines. This is the first time I've lived somewhere without it, which I knew going in. What I didn't know was that the on-site laundry machines were entirely digital payment and only used an app for payment. That on its own isn't ideal, but maybe serviceable. What makes it untenable to me though is that the price is higher per load and the app is poorly reviewed because of incorrect machine information, random loss of account credits, bad customer support, and general app instability, according to the many reviews. I downloaded the app just to see what it is like and immediately I refuse to use the app because of their ToS which heavily favors the company from a legal standpoint, including mandatory waiver of class action lawsuit and forced small claims litigation.
