Power is out on my side of Orange, but it looks like it's only one phase or something, because half our house was still working. But I've shut it all down and now we're drinking beer (because it was only gonna get warm) and waiting it out.

Last night, while wife was putting kiddo to bed, I packed up the toys he'd left out in the lounge room. Threw his talking T-Rex from Toy Story in to a box, and dumped a bunch of other stuff on top of it. Must've bumped the button on it, because it said something. Sure mate, whatever.
Ten minutes later, wife is still with kiddo, I'm on the couch alone considering grabbing a beer. Apropos of nothing I hear, from the box, T-Rex saying "Were you scared? Tell me honestly."
Well I wasn't *before*, mate.
Free bot idea: every few minutes, open a new github issue requesting a random fediverse account be opted out of that relay thing.
BRB writing a lot of stuff about how community works online, so I've got something to completely ignore when I build my opt-out relay in to the nazi bar.
Somebody took out a pole-top transformer a few blocks away. I'm suddenly very annoyed I don't have an isolating solar inverter.
Kiddo managed to push a button for a flight attendant before we'd even sat down. Gonna be a long flight home.
Today I learned that caring about long covid makes you part of a death cult, apparently. Why are people like this.
