Actually my first real “go to the venue” concert was The Osmonds. My sister was a huge fan of Donny. We ended up going backstage so yes, I have met Donny Osmond (and his brother Jay)
When I was young I listened to a lot of mid to late sixties rock (The Who, Jethro Tull) and prog rock. It is only in my dotage that I appreciate music from the 80s.

@phocks@bne.social I’m not trying to defend the Fahrenheit scale but the reason a brine solution was chosen was due to the fact that the phase change was easier to see.
The water/ice transition can be difficult with pure water as it can “superheat” or “supercool” due to the structure of the molecule.
