@snarkysteff@mastodon.online honestly, if you can afford to buy seedlings, go for it. I'm never going to look down on someone for having a hobby that's literally creating life, and potentially food. If they want to spend money on it, it's better than spending money on golf clubs or burning fuel to "just go for a drive"
