Feels similar erratic as the AI agent account that did a takedown of the mathplotlib maintainer in its blog, but either controlled by a conspiracy nut job or the agent itself became obsessed with new world order conspiracy theories

Ich meine nicht Kommentarspam und ähnliches, sondern Redirects. Das sieht man relativ oft, dass Links in Spam-Mails über drei redirects zum Ziel führen damit bei Maßnahmen nochmal umgelenkt werden kann. Und dafür werden oft gehackte Wordpress-Seiten benutzt, im besten Fall so, dass der Seitenbetreiber gar nichts davon mitbekommt.
Die Backdoor wäre dir im Testsystem halt auch nicht aufgefallen. Ab ja, das Hauptproblem sind Plugins und weniger/keine ist eine Lösung, kein WP eine andere.

@adlerweb wenn du keine automatischen Updates bei Wordpress hast bist du aber genauso schnell verloren, weil dann deine Webseite in Windeseile zum Vertriebsnetzwerk von irgendwelchen Spammern und Phishern gehört. The only winning move is not to play.
