@tiif@hachyderm.io @jhostert@mathstodon.xyz RustCamp Switzerland could fix this. and by fix, let's just say, add a third generation of stickers.

@akiross@mastodon.social I did not consider long fields when writing this. perhaps that can be solved by allowing views in type aliases? for instance
type Foo_ = Foo.{
very_long_field_1,
very_long_field_2
};
that or view groups (there's a thread somewhere in the rust-lang Zulip about this, I forgot to bookmark it 💀💀).
i don't know what to think about the syntax you proposed. i care about "what we should use this for" much more than "what this should look like".

@yosh@toot.yosh.is i really loved your blog post about this!
I didn't mention it in my post because I don't have anything new to bring to the table other than "that would be so damn cool". I will try to discuss with Oli at some point to see if they know how/whether this can be implemented. I'm really excited about this :)

@ploum@mamot.fr yup that was me!! At the exam we talked about how Rust was being used in the Linux kernel, it was lovely
Sometimes I need to show my friends your class is /different/ and usually this is what convinces them: https://github.com/ploum/lingi2401/issues/246 :D

@ploum@mamot.fr so nice to read that literally everything that made me super happy with how your exams work is still there. Everything around me enshittifies so quickly these days, I'm glad your class doesn't :)
