wow i really love it when i'm not feeling 100% awesome so i go to the doctor & get a diagnosis & get put on medication which makes me feel one thousand times worse.

there's a veritable pharmaceutical & cosmetic treasure trove under there, but my AuDHD makes the "out of sight, out of mind" issue an ISSUE, so it's been sitting there waiting for me since my second knee surgery. yay for past me!!✨

i was telling mr. scout last night that whenever any of us got chicken pox as a kid, my brothers & i had to take baths w/ oatmeal powder in it. & was blathering on about how i—as a person prone to all of the allergies—✨adore✨ aveeno, the maker of so many oatmeal based anti itchy~itchy products…when i remembered that i had a freaking TUB of their extra strength calming lotion stashed under the bed!! 🎉

@solsetur@famichiki.jp thank you!!✨ it does indeed suck, but the doctor attributes my fairly mild case to the fact that i'd been vaccinated ~7 weeks before. tho it is a bit hard not feeling like the unluckiest muthafucka in the neighborhood, hopefully that will pass, too. 😅🤣

@djb@social.shirow.net that's awful, i'm so sorry!♡ i think it is just a mild case because i hadn't bothered seeing a doctor since it began. i'm famously allergic to everything & figured i was having a skin reaction that was holding tf on…i've even been jokily referring to it as my pox. 😅 unfortunately tho, the reason i talked to my doctor yesterday is because it went from an annoyance to a quickly multiplying problem in like 2 days. i just hope the meds keep it from spreading further.
