I spent some time testing various Plex apps, and I found the default app is better in most ways. So many of them have terrible design, or compatibility issues that are deal-breaking. There are a couple I’m keeping my eye on though. Infuse has a user profile switching issue that’s a deal breaker but is a top contender—the bug is a tvOS bug. Plezy looks good but doesn’t play all formats reliably and the app icon is ugly. Zuno looked good on the outside but the app is buggy and vibe coded.
