Under this scorching heat, I find myself forced to cook over woodfires that devour what is left of my health. I suffer from severe chest infections, and the doctor strictly warned me against smoke exposure. Yet, helplessness drives me to risk my life with every meal I prepare. I am in desperate need of your help to afford 3 kg of gas (around $100) to protect my exhausted lungs from this suffocating smoke. Please, save my fragile body from the fire and its smoke

"When water becomes available, I rush to fill a small basin to put my children in, trying to soothe the intense heat on their tender bodies and protect them from skin diseases caused by the extreme heat. In those simple moments, I try to steal a little comfort for them, and quiet the fear that burns in my heart."

The burdens and responsibilities are constantly increasing; we feel exhausted. 😞
Sometimes the pain is so intense that we

Necessity is the mother of invention—our daily reality in Gaza. To wash our children, we now fill jugs with water and leave them under the sun; in minutes, it gets as hot as if it were on a fire.
It’s a simple trick, but it shows how we adapt to a life missing all basic needs. It’s also proof of the brutal summer heat we endure inside the tents, under a merciless sun, holding onto nothing but patience and hope. 💔☀️"
