My father passed away in February. My father in law passed away last week. Both under very similar circumstances. Supporting my wife and her family, and seeing their grief is taking a far heavier toll than going through it myself.

It’s a weird time, and I’m hoping for some more peace soon.

@Paxxi@hachyderm.io @polotek@social.polotek.net Oof. This is the one thing where I feel that frameworks are actually doing us a disservice. By the time a framework reaches a level of having accessibility on-par with the web platform form element it tries to replace, usually it begins to show its age. The overengineering that is going into simple dropdowns is staggering!

If said plugin would make Wordpress’ “hey ur not caching, but we still fast!” alert shut up, to placate the person who’ll be using the site, I’d happily use it and take any brrrrrrrr as a free win 😅

Dagje in Phantasialand. Superleuk pretpark, maar wel een enorme stap terug in de tijd vergeleken met Nederlandse parken waar tegenwoordig bijna overal een rookverbod van toepassing is… je zit/loopt constant in smerige tabakswalmen. #phantasialand #rauchverbot
