@jacqueline it does whip ass! I love it even though sadly mine never worked properly, it spontaneously reboots after a few minutes of playback. I’ve tried all sorts of different sd cards and firmware combinations, no go. I also could never build the firmwares without errors. I haven’t had time to dig in and debug, but is there a container out there with a pre configured dev environment i could use to build firmwares for it?

@vampiress@eigenmagic.net I do devops for embedded systems. One of the CI build systems requires: Windows, with a gui, with MSOffice (no alternatives! We tried!), with a logged in user, with wsl. We managed to get all that into an ephemeral virtual machine that can be spun up on demand in 4 minutes without wsl (so the job can start doing the non-wsl things), then tack on another 6 minutes to get wsl running. Fortunately, the plan is to switch to linux but it's going to be a mulit-year effort.

@r1cksec@infosec.exchange do you have to actually click “save” for your content to be stored? If i just paste content to get it formatted (which i have done in the past, but never with secrets!) i thought it wasn’t stored.

@vampiress@eigenmagic.net Not sure if Silverado as a whole counts as a vibe, but Kevin Klein’s performance in it certainly does. I absolutely love that movie.
