Just a reminder that the EU does not necessarily require cookie banners and the only reason sites have to put up these banners is because they want to collect your data. The ad tech industry will fight tooth and nail to keep these banners up, because they can steer people towards *more* data collection using dark patterns. A simple browser setting doesn't allow this (which is why "do not track" essentially died).
