It can help you write the patch. Identify threats in a SIEM or SOAR setup. But I can't think of much else. Defense has to be correct. If your .htaccess file is 99% correct that's a problem

Not quite. The way the NSA and CIA usually work with Microsoft for exploits is pretty much just having them hold off on specific updates whenever needed.
In this case it sounds like they have specific targets using windscribe and veracrypt that they need to remain unpatched.

This is probably the same intelligence related sex trafficking ring that Epstein and Maxwell took the lead of.
Blew up a plane to kill an investigator and his 8yo, dosens of murders including a CIA director. A victim jailed 15 years for refusing to recant. All from what started as a credit union embezzlement case in Omaha Nebraska.
