@automattack@counterforce.social I use Audirvana, and while I keep the audio files for splits within a "Various Artists" folder, I make sure that the Album Artist tag includes individual entries for each artist and that each song is correctly tagged by Artist as well. (All of this is done with MusicBrainz Picard.)
The release is alphabetized by the Album Sort Artist tag of the first artist and does not appear in both places, which is a shame, but I can find it by doing a search for the artist.
