My sand dollar! That I broke...but it was so cool to find. It was a pretty clean break and Kyle is gonna try to glue it back together. I want to put it up in the baby's room!

Had a really nice weekend at the beach with my sisters! We got there Friday night and went out to dinner at a diner, then stayed up late talking and laughing. Saturday we got breakfast and went shopping, then came home and I took a nap, then we went to the boardwalk and for pizza! It was super windy and chilly but still fun. Sunday it was beautiful outside and after breakfast we went to the beach and walked around looking for shells and sat by the water. I found an intact sand dollar for the first time ever! But I broke it on the ride home, I accidentally threw my water bottle on top of it :( Kyle is going to try to glue it back together.

Had a really bizarre dream about a demonic (not evil, but I don't know how else to describe it) purple monster and also a demonic (this one was evil) gigantic snowy owl that made weird stuff happen to me and people try to manipulate me

Yesterday I was a witness for two friends who got married :) their actual wedding is planned for June, but one of them unexpectedly got laid off so they did a quick legal thing with their officiant to make sure she can be on her wife's health insurance. It was cool, I got to sign the license and everything. Then we went out to a sushi place for dinner and I got avocado rolls and cucumber avocado rolls!!!! Yum. I still crave sushi pretty often so I'm glad I enjoy some of the vegetarian options. I also tried tofu for the first time ever, I think! They got a silken tofu appetizer, it was pretty good.

A cool pregnancy development is that I feel pregnant now, in that I can feel that there is a thing inside me below my belly. It's sort of like when you feel really full from eating, but it's not in the same place. It just feels like there's something in there! The baby is about 5.5 inches now so I guess that makes sense!

@philpem@digipres.club I've been a furry for like 25 years now, I'm so grateful that most of my snarky behavior happened before social media!! Kids these days don't have that luxury, everyone is so online all the time, "clout" is so important to a lot of younger folks...it's a bad situation

Back when I was a younger furry I thought murrsuiting was gross, babyfurs were weird, and furry lifestylers were cringe. I was so incredibly wrong and I hope that by now I have paid it forward enough to make up for anything hurtful I may have said online all those years ago. I participated in some pretty mean livejournal communities. Blah.

Now I am/have participated in all of those things, and I think they're pretty cool.

I'm itching to go to a furry con. Usually by this time of the year I've been to nyfb and fur the more, but we only did a couple hours at nyfb this year and we skipped fur the more completely. My next con is Anthrocon and I'm getting excited!! Its my favorite, and it will be my last one for a while since we're going to be parents! I am of course thrilled to be having a baby but also a little sad that I'll be missing my irl community for several years. I like irl furry stuff best, online is fine but in person feels so good. I love being surrounded by the same species of weirdo that I am. I love seeing people letting their freak flag fly!!!!

I have never seen a star wars movie or TV show. My parents weren't into it (my dad's never seen one either, my mom saw the first in the movies and didn't "get it," had no further interest) so they never passed it on to me or my sisters, and it's just not something I have any interest in. Happy Star Wars day. Haha

I'm starting to feel some inspiration to draw again! My tablet is in a box somewhere so I have to find it, but maybe I'll try to draw something this week. I want to draw a reaux mermaid for mermay!
