@SnoopSqueak@mastodon.social @mike@sauropods.win With the limited context of this thread, I don’t see how he’s exploiting the rules here. This is available to any MP and I would imagine he’s not alone in claiming up to the £50k. Maybe the rules should be different?
I’m not sure what’s unpalatable about well planned. Should people be going out of their way to not take advantage of what’s available to them or minimise their taxes within the rules?

Like how Company Director's always have a salary of £12,250.

A 150% price increase is probably too much for me given that I’m only really paying for the Mastodon instance.
Im not angry, but I cant really justify it either.

I realize this won’t be a popular change, but I think it’s an important one (for reasons I outlined in the post). But damn, we fucking did it with style!
AirPods are without question the best product has launched since the iPhone. But this is absolutely my pet peeve and I will totally die on this hill.
AirPods outside of would not be a Fortune 500 company. They would be Bose or Senheiser. The whole point is that their magic literally comes from being part of the ecosystem with the inherent privileges that no other headphones have.

Charging my Magic Trackpad for the first time in a while and for some reason I never realised how slow the charging is.
Super annoying that once I upgrade my AirPods Pro 2, I'll still have to keep lightning cables around just for this thing.

The problem with these sorts of criticisms is that it’s impossible to draw a meaningful line. Every company can be criticised on some level.

The 17E is going to last as long as any other brand new iphone in terms of support and performance.
The issue (for me) with the MacBook Neo is that it may be fine now but it isn't going to age well in terms of performance even if it remains supported.
