- if a new soap pump has a rigid tube attached, they pull right off. Flexible tube goes in its place
- if the existing tube doesn't fit a new pump, hardware stores sell tubing by the foot. Take your pump and see what fits snugly. If you're concerned about the seal, buy narrower tubing and warm it with a hair dryer before pushing it on
I know garbage disposal air switches won't work for your scenario, but:
- they will work on any disposal that plugs into an outlet (not hard wired)
- they are quite safe from accidental triggers. They must be pushed down about an inch to work.
