I hear you (and a few other people who called it out).

We enforce a "no AI content" policy, because people buy our books to hear from experts and not from rehashes of StackOverflow answers. But it never occurred to me that people would object to an AI image on a decorative cover.

It was never my intention to cause any offense, so a better understanding will help me not repeat the mistake.

I'm really, really enjoying the Unison language and environment. The append-only library system is fabulous, but takes getting used to. The language itself is sweet, but the icing on the cake is the fantastic _abilities_ feature (Abstract Algebraic Effects).

I made a Quarto extension for markdown table layout. It separates data from presentation, and has a pretty flexible way of defining layout.

Really enjoying playing with https://xstate.js.org/. I've been a big fan of state machines for decades, but normally just roll my own. But xstate adds a lot of value, and the visualizer is just plain fun.
