The AI timeline scraper did the bare minimum, so now there's an opt-out.
Not good (it should obviously be opt-in), but at least there's now simple steps that individuals and admins can take.
Individuals: Turn of search engine indexing in settings.
Admins: Block the user agent and advise your users to make sure they have search engine indexing disabled.
My understanding is that blocking the user agent is a positive step, but not sufficient.
