Palestinian mothers live in grief at all times. They grieve the theft of homeland. They grieve their mothers. They grieve their children. Palestinian motherhood is a radical action. Carrying a baby. Feeding a child. Hoping they will have childhood and maybe adulthood. Every small act of care for a Palestinian child is a radical protest against a system that wants to prevent them from living on.
