I had to change how I garden as with climate change my original plantings did not work as well anymore. I planted a lot more woody plants with deep roots such as fruit trees, fruit bushes and canes. They provide shade and don`t need watering. I also planted perennial veg such as rhubarb and perennial kale as well as many perennial flowers for wildlife. This means less watering, more shelter, and leaves for mulching. I also have more birds now. #climatechange #gardening
