@sel @zaire Is this even new? I've known people who used apparmour or SElinux settings, user permissions, iptables, timeoutd, and user groups to block kids from accessing certain things, and system logs to monitor what they get up to. (I agree doing this to your own kids is bad - just, this seems to not be a *new* antifeature, nor limited to gnome? Controlling parents have always been able to be controlling to their kids on linux.)
