Getting organised works better to stop them. At least 16 were stopped or put off worth $64 billion, and Canada told a crypto wanker "no electricity for you"
No soup for you!
It works, stop them, block them, tax them.
Call neighbours about water, about taxes ruined, make meetings and lists, city councillors, state reps, letters and emails.
Say NO. LOUDLY. Always.

Not that data center. Burn down the new one full of AI GPUs, which consumes all your water and spews carbon from its petro generators.

Unaffected, in the same way that _your_ house burning down would not destroy my connection, your connection is branched off of the common line.
And if you're trying to make a _moral_ argument: I shouldn't have to pay for a corpo's pet project.

Maybe focus disruptive efforts on infrastructure supporting the data centers instead of the building themselves.
