When I was a kid in the Rogue Valley, my brothers and I were raised by a single mom. It was really tough for a few of our formative years, and I recall Mom dropping us at local Christian organizations for necessarily free day care a few times.

The collective delusion of the christians I was forced to hang out with back then feels a lot like what I'm seeing with AI enthusiasts/believers these days. People just gleefully eating shitty biscuits and drinking box wine and then shouting hallelujah.
