I went to NAMM and the subsequent Friends of Buchla event last week/weekend and one thing that I think does deserve more representation there is open source tools. It would be nice if there was one booth, even a small one, that just represented the whole ecosystem. Music students and educators attend at a great discount or paid for by an institution. They're not programmers who necessarily know what's out there.
