my regular shoe size is US 11 (10.5 in, 26.7 cm), so I’d be buying a US 10.5 (10.3 in, 26.2 cm). A coworker I know does this sometimes. She says its ok with heeled sandals and slingbacks, but not ok with pumps, because sandals and slingbacks are open. What’s your experience? I really like that model and size 11 is sold out.

That’s half a size smaller if I’m reading your post right. Probably okay if they’re open-toed. The higher the heel the more your toes gets squeezed. Are you planning on wearing the shoes all day or for an evening/event only? What’s the return policy where you’re buying them?

correct, half a size smaller. Title corrected. I want them to be as versatile as possible, so both events only and all day long. Would the smaller size be a problem? I can buy em, test em for 4 weeks and return if not happy with them
